About
Every EEO investigator starts somewhere. Whether you're weighing this career for the first time or you've just taken on your first case, you don't have to figure it out alone.
NICE TO MEET YOU
I'm Deonna
An experienced federal-sector EEO investigator and the founder of DA EEO Services. When I began my career as an investigator, the process felt overwhelming and intimidating. Although my 32-hour training gave me the foundation I needed to enter the field, I quickly realized there was still so much to learn about managing an actual investigation.
Fortunately, I had a great mentor who helped me understand the process, develop my skills, and gain the confidence to build my career. I created DA EEO Services to provide new and aspiring investigators with the practical guidance, training, and resources I needed when I was getting started.

My Story
I didn't set out to become an EEO investigator. I was looking for a career that provided flexibility, the ability to work from home, and a sustainable income. What I found was a career that combined structure, fairness, and real impact on people's working lives.
My 32-hour training gave me the legal foundation, but it didn't prepare me for the reality of my first case: the pressure of timelines, the judgment calls, the parts nobody tells you about until you're living them. I leaned hard on a mentor who'd been doing this for years, and slowly I built the confidence and skill set to manage cases on my own.
Now I do for new investigators what my mentor did for me — break down what the job actually looks like, week by week, so you're not learning everything the hard way.

Why I Do It
Federal-sector EEO work matters. Investigators are responsible for looking into serious workplace complaints fairly and thoroughly, and that responsibility can feel like a lot when you're new to it.
I remember what it was like to not know where to start — to have the training but not the confidence. That gap is exactly what DA EEO Services is built to close: practical guidance, real case scenarios, and resources that meet you where you are, whether you're aspiring to the field or already investigating your first case.
